Human Rights Defenders Claim Their Rights: A Learning Journey

Under the Community Researcher project, the Social Rights Alliance has worked with grassroots campaigners from Difference NE, Sheppey is Ours!, The Wharton Trust and Intisaar to develop thinking around a 'human rights based approach'.

This powerful film charts the progress of this diverse group of Community Researchers from across England as they examine human rights concepts, challenge what a 'human rights-based approach' means and write their own guide. In doing so they 'claim the right to talk about rights'.

Talk.Act.Change Toolkit

What issues does your community face?

The Talk.Act.Change toolkit is designed to get people talking about social rights and the change we’d like to see.

Your responses to this toolkit help the Social Rights Alliance England and its regional groups to decide where we focus our campaigning energy. Your insights give us a greater understanding of the issues experienced across England.

Share your experiences by emailing your answers back to sra@justfair.org.uk.

The guide tells you:
